I don't have time for much cuz we're about to go see RotK again, but thought I'd post this survey I posted in my LJ earlier and thought I'd add a bit more besides.

I've just made my journal look a bit prettier. I've got all Maggie Gyllanhaal (spelling?) icons now, I've not seen her in anything but she's very pretty. And I like the refried paper layout, if only it didn't have a stupid ad at the top. LJ is so much nicer than DJ - no invite codes, no ads, and links that actually say what they are instead of some cool dead speak, and an easier to read colour scheme. You lot are the only people keeping me over here.

1. What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before?
I've never been as happy before.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't think I made any, to be honest. And this year... I don't know. I can't think of anything. If it's that important, I'll do it anyway, regardless of resolutions.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Well, I had two new cousins born this year, Aaron and Seth, but I don't know that side of the family very well.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No.

5. What countries did you visit?
Spain.

6. What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003?
Um, I don't think there's anything.

7. What date from 2003 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Um. I can't even remember anything exciting on any specific days this year, to be honest. I've been very boring, I've just been happy. I'll say today, the 20th, cuz it's the day I saw RotK which is one of the most exciting things about my year.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Being happy, I suppose.

9. What was your biggest failure?
I haven't really failed at anything.

I may have had a cold at some point...

Chris, because it just does.

Not really.

I don't have any money. Chris buys me things. Most of his money goes on food and PS2 games for us both.

I have no idea. There's been some good songs but they're not specifically 2003y.

crying. i know i said was happy, but i can cry for no reason and then get over it within a few hours, so although i didnt spend much time being unhappy, when i was it was horrible and intense.

with my mum and sister and grandma and dog in southend.

if i hadnt fallen in love already, then yes. i dont know when i did exactly. ive carried on being in love all year.

I haven't posted here in ages but then I haven't got much to say. I haven't posted on my personal livejournal much either so you can't take it personally.

I'm reading the second Gormenghast book and I don't think I like it :/ As soon as I start thinking I do, something big and complicated and lenghty turns up and confuses me. I'm only really interested in Steerpike and Fuschia and the twins and stuff but I'm stuck in a bit with all these teachers now and I keep forgetting their names. But I shall finish reading the whole trilogy, just so I know.

I woke up way too early and Chris is still asleep and I'm bored, so look what I've been doing to fill the time, and no it's not the big survey everyone else did, its one I found elsewhere and I like to think my answers are slightly more interesting than usual.

Am stupidly bored, in a kind of can't-be-bothered-to-do-anything way so my friend Lee suggested I post a journal entry.

So here I am.

AOL decided to block us out of our account for no paying (so unfair) so we went to tesco.net instead which is cheaper and a bit nicer.

Me and Luu spent all weekend playing Tony Hawk on the PS2 which was fun. And I completed Final Fantasy X just cuz I'd been playing it long enough. Sad ending. But maybe FFX-2 will make it all better.

Next weekend I'm going to Southend. Not sure if that'll be fun or not. And then the next weekend Chris is going to Ireland to see his dad. We agreed that I shouldn't go because our holiday in Spain with his mum was crap because of the whole me not talking issue that people seem to respond badly to.

Um, I think that's all of my news. I want to see the Prisoner of Azkaban trailer except my stupid computer won't open it. And Luu, Peter Pan's out on the 25th of December apparantly, stupidly, cuz after Christmas Day nothing's as fun anymore. But anyway, maybe we could go and see it the day after Boxing Day or something.

I'm bored, and chris is off with his new band so I thought I might as well come back and say hello to you and do up my journal to match my pretty LJ person journal (here) complete with icons of Mary-Kate Olsen, because I've decided I like the Olsen twins in a freaky kind of way. Ashley's prettier I think, but she has bigger and therefore scarier eyes.

I should be writing because I was in a flow earlier and I don't know if it stopped because I got distracted by other things, or because it just stopped.

I'm listening to Sophie Ellis Bextor's new album and it's nice because her first was a grower and this isn't, but i don't know if I'll love it as much as I love her first. There's a really nice song on it though called The Walls Keep Saying Your Name and she wrote it all herself.

I'm doing alright at having semi-interesting things to say, aren't I?

Again, I've been neglecting my deadjournal. I have a personal journal at livejournal that I use more: justruby if you want to look at that. I also have one on greatestjournal that I just copy and paste my LJ entries into. Of course, I could just go and paste them here too, but I'm too lazy.

Chris is in here reading a print out of Following Harri, which is making me nervous because I know the beginning needs a big rewrite :S. But, 45 pages so far, which is good :D

Oooh I'd quite like to be Hermione Granger (I'm so unoriginal) so I could be best friends with Ron and Harry but it wouldn't be very nice to be in such stressful situations as she is sometimes. If it could be a nice fluffy happy world, then Hermione Granger.

In the summer - as far away from Christmas as possible. So that all the fun isn't shoved together at one end of the year.

I got my first flame today. Well, make that flames. All by the same girl though. What is it with flamers? I had it clearly marked as R and slash and Sirius/Harry etc and she still went and reviewed after the first chapter saying that if it got dirty she'd flame me - and of course it did get dirtier and she did flame. And then she went and said she'd only read more stuff I wrote if she really really liked it, as if she was doing me a favour or something. Grr.

I don't know why it's annoyed me really, because clearly she was just immature and stupid but comments like "ew this is sick" aren't really worth taking seriously. I guess the thing that annoys me is that she's been reading and reviewing (nicely) my fic called Moments, which is a nice normal PG-13 Ron/Hermione fluffy romance with nothing risky in it at all, and I've been really pleased with all the nice reviews I was getting from it and now it seems that all it takes is just one fic that somebody doesn't like to turn them against me.

So I've taken the fic off fanfiction.net. I think I'll stick to only PG-13 and below on there. Should've known really.

I think I'll concentrate on finishing Moments before I work on anything else. I like Moments but it's holding me back, I've got loads of young fangirls desperate for more chapters and I don't want more flames. I do like writing it though. It'll be nice to have it finished. Probably only a few more chapters to go.
